Arizona

Below are photos Ewa and I captured visiting Arizona in early November 2021.  The two main sites we visited were a desert park near the place we stayed and the Indoor Butterfly Garden in Phoenix.  All of the cactus and desert landscape photos were taken with the Nikon s3700 point and shoot which was the perfect camera to take along during our long walks in the desert.

Butterfly Wonderland:

Ewa and I visited Butterfly Wonderland in Scottsdale.  Among other things, we learned that the butterfly's migration path to South America is the longest of any animal migration on the planet.  It is amazing they can fly so far and so high, they must be incredibly efficient.  The 3D video they showed there was incredible.  The photos below were taken with the d5300 with the Nikkor 18-140 DX lens which was a lot of fun to travel with.
