Travelled to Jasper-Pulaski Fish & Wildlife area today. The Sandhill Cranes were abundant but kept their distance. Not the case with the largest Vulture I have ever seen which greeted me near the entrance. Sandhill Cranes official count is already at 3,804. Last year's late November peak grew to 28,652.
