Feb 6: A Stroll Before the Snow Thaws

 

Took a walk this morning to stay ahead of the rising temperatures that might start melting the snow today.  Could hear a lot more birds than I could see but did see several Cardinals,  Put the camera in Shutter Priority mode at either 1/320 or 1/500s and noticed the camera always chose f6.3.  The ISO was also under 200 for all the shots this morning which was great for clean images.  There were still about 12" of snow on the ground when I set out, was really a peaceful walk.  Grandma would have enjoyed all the Cardinals that were out.  Some are below.
