Butterfly with the Nikon D70

Captured this yesterday morning at the Butler Prairie with the "vintage" Nikon D70.  The sharp and low noise images it takes with its CCD sensor (even in low light) more than makes up for the relatively small 6 MP image resolution by today's standards.  Just compose well, limit cropping and the results are amazing.  This was top of the line pro camera back in 2004 but can be purchased today in excellent used condition for under $70.  Still an amazing competitive camera today.

Of all the wildlife at the Butler Prairie, it's the fearless butterfly who is not shy about posing.
